Choices…
People only see the decisions you made, not the choices you had.
Espresso to Go
Love this eco-packaging of my Americano this morning from Arma coffee shop in Capitol Hill. Functional and stylish.
Capitol Hill
Morning walk in DC this morning took me through the Mall and the Capitol.
Magic…
The magic you’re looking for is in the work you’re avoiding.
Gas at Roy’s in the Mojave
Old school dial gas pumps at Roy’s. You even have to ask them to turn the pumps on.
Kelso Dunes Flyover
Just up the road from Amboy, about 35 miles north into the Mojave Preserve, is Kelso Dunes. It is a massive sand dune in the Mojave, accessible by a five mile gravel road off the main road.
Amboy Crater Flyover
Took this video while on a moto day trip up to Amboy from home in La Quinta last week. Pretty amazing old volcano crater on Route 66 about one mile from Roy’s in Amboy.
Airport Walk
Combined my morning walk and trip to the airport this morning. Gray day in SD but still got some steps in.
Breakfast in Joshua Tree
This place is an exceptional choice for breakfast if you find yourself in Joshua Tree.

Lisa's 60th
Hosted a landmark birthday for Lisa at La Quinta Country Club, which included our two girls, four of her siblings and nearly 70 other friends. Epic evening to celebrate an epic woman.
My Hometown
Got a chance to bet back to my hometown — Galesburg, Illinois — to visit my dad. Some pics of my hometown shopping mall, closed down a couple of decades ago and sits in disrepair. My dad used to work at Sears in this mall. It was a centerpiece of community in a small, central Illinois town.
